Review: The Wedding Reception
Every little girl dreams of their prince charming and ultimately, her fairytale wedding.
So did I. White has always been one of the favourite colour of mine and I knew that I always wanted a dreamy white wedding theme for my side's wedding reception. I even wanted the 'red carpet' to be in white but unfortunately Pak Abu told me that the one that he has was quite slippery. To avoid drama and for safety purposes in the end, we decided to use the one in red.
I was very delighted with the awesome decorations done by Pak Abu and for that I would like to thank him for making it a dream come true. I absolutely enjoyed every single minute of the event and I'm glad that I could share the moment and happiness with my beloved ones whom had attended on that night. I didn't want the night to end.
Veil, an integral and symbolic piece that people only wear it on their once in a lifetime event, the wedding day. I opted for an absolutely long veil.
I wonder how Sha, my maid of honour managed it.
No stress right, Sha? ;p
Growing up montage that was played during the wedding reception right after my dad's speech.
Reminiscing the memories brought tears to my eyes..
Alhamdulillah, with the blessings of Allah, everything went smoothly just like how I dreamed.
There's no word to describe the magical feeling when the day I signed my life away to this amazing person.
To my wonderful parents, you have filled my life beyond words can say. Thank you for the happiness & everything that you have done.
I love you from the bottom of my heart. ♥

Wedding Review: The Reception (Behind The Scene)
There were many preparations that went on planning a wedding reception.
It involved a lot of meetings, brain-storming, imaginations, patience and the list goes on.
Thank God for super momma and dad whom had helped me and supported me a lot in the preparations as I was at the same time very hectic running around at the court and in the office that sometimes I came back in the midnight.
No joke.

Cousins and best friends that involved during the rehearsal.
My lovely aunt that assisted us a lot through out the preparations.
Thanks Auntie T!
In spite of a preparation time for almost a year, every single moment of the wedding planning was something to be remembered. It was enjoyable, unforgettable and the time where one could actually strengthen the bond between family members, relatives and friends.
How I wish I could turn back the time.

Wedding Review: From Miss to Mrs, The Solemnization
This is the wedding review of my solemnization ceremony, the day i signed my life away to the one whom my soul loves. Well, I still remember clearly before the wedding day my grandmother reminded me not to meet the future husband since, according to the wise old saying by the previous 'nenek moyang'..
.
.
Che': Sarah..kalau selalu jumpa sebelum hari nak dekat kahwin nanti tak naik lah seri pengantin.
She said if we always meet each other nearing our big day then the bride and groom will lose the wedding day glow. Okay that sounded scary obviously. How can I not be. I straight away called Saiful and made him not to meet me for a week. Poor guy.
.
.
But...the fact that our office is just few blocks away from each other, he actually waited for me with his cheeky morning smile at the mamak shop with his teh tarik on the following day (and almost every morning before the big day actually) to see me pass by in the car and gave that 'hellooo' wave at me.
-____- Of course I pretended not to see that. Hahaha ;p

In the blink of an eye
A week has passed
and here comes the big day.
It was held at my residence in the beautiful month of November.
Ribbons, crystals and flowers dangling on the ceiling of the akad nikah place, just as how I imagined. The beautiful decorations was done by Persada Embun.
And the hantaran (gifts) was decorated by the great guy Pak Abu
The hantaran from groom's side was done by Flora Etc
Here comes the most important part of the wedding day.
The solemnization dress.
.
.
.
It was designed by beloved mom and drawn, tailored by my favourite Altelia Amani. I have to confess that the reason my mom and I chose them was because they made very feminine design dresses based on client's specific requirements. The most importantly, they were very humble and willing to tailor the dress exactly how you want it to be and not based on how they want it to look like.

I wanted to add dangling clear crystals, pearls, intricate beadings and little diamonds on the off-white Elie Saab lace as well as laces in between the flowy skirt for a delicate look of my solemnization dress. Alhamdulillah it turned out beautifully and I absolutely love it.

She's amazingg!
